Scott is a Partner in our Dumbarton office. He was formerly accredited by the Law Society of Scotland in family mediation, was a convenor of CALM Scotland (Comprehensive Accredited Lawyer Mediators) and member of the Family Law Association, former Vice Chair of Scottish Mediation and Chair of its Promotions Committee & Peer Mediation Working Group, and was the first lawyer mediator in Scotland to be trained in direct consultation with children in family mediation ("child inclusive mediation"). He was also a member of the Family Mediation Accreditation Panel of the Law Society of Scotland. His focus has since shifted to private client work, which includes executries, wills, and powers of attorney.
Scott makes the daily trek in to the office from his house in Glasgow, where he lives with his wife and son. Outside of the law he enjoys football (for personal safety reasons he has left out his team persuasion!), web design, and a social life which leaves him little time to relax!
He was formerly the Librarian to the Faculty of Solicitors of Dunbartonshire, continues to be a member of the Dumbarton Burns Club and Dumbarton Salmon Club, and also has a hand in organising the Firm's involvement in local charitable donation and sponsorship.
