David will be pleased to assist you with Wills, Executries & Powers of Attorney and is based in our Helensburgh office.

Having lived locally his whole life, educated at Hermitage Academy and subsequently graduating from the University of Glasgow, David completed his traineeship at a Glasgow legal firm at the end of 2023. He was delighted to have the opportunity of joining the McArthur Stanton team as a Solicitor having had a great insight into a Law career during work experience at the firm way back in 2015.

David lives in Cardross and is already embracing his new shorter commute to Helensburgh from the village.

He is a past President of the University of Glasgow Sign Language Society and has future plans to advance this qualification in the years ahead. David hopes at some point it will be a language skill which will add value to clients of the firm. Away from work David enjoys hillwalking and socialising with a wide group of friends. He has a particular interest in world and current affairs and enjoys reading and podcasts.

David is very personable and approachable and takes a huge pride in making sure his clients enjoy the best possible experience when dealing with him.
